By using our website, you indicate your acceptance of this Cookie and Privacy Statement. We respect the privacy of all users of our website and ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.

Personal data that we process.

Ridicule Design processes your personal data when you show interest in a product and/or service offered by Ridicule Design where we need certain personal data for the proper execution and administrative processing of the agreed-upon agreements, which (eventually) will be recorded in an agreement signed by both you and Ridicule Design. In addition, we will process your personal data if you provide these to us yourself.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First name and last name;
  • Adress data;
  • Telephone number(s);
  • E-mail address(es);
  • Other personal data that you actively provide by means of, for example, written and telephone communication or by creating a profile on our website;
  • Information about your activities on our website;
  • Bank account number: we will never ask for more information than your bank account number.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data?

  • To set up an agreement;
  • To process your payment;
  • To send our newsletters, purchase confirmations, offers, quotations, invoices, etc.;
  • To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to be able to perform our services;
  • To inform you about changes to our services, products, and documents such as Cookie and Privacy Statements and general Terms and Conditions;
  • To deliver agreed goods/products and services to you;
  • Because of the legal obligation for processing personal data, such as the data we need for our tax return.

For how long do we retain personal data?

Ridicule Design stores your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Because of the lifetime guarantee, we offer on our products, your contact details will, of course, be stored in a (pseudonymized) archive where Ridicule Design has taken the necessary precautions to guarantee your privacy. This measure also applies to written communication, such as e-mails, agreements, quotations, CAD drawings, etc. Business documents, such as annual accounts, profit and loss accounts, administrations and sales tax invoices must be kept for at least seven years. Letters of application and all correspondence related to the application will be retained for a maximum of four weeks after the application procedure has been completed. Letters of application and Curriculum Vitae for any future vacancies will only be kept for a maximum of one year with the explicit consent of the applicant. For your rights, please see the heading ‘viewing, adjusting or deleting data’.

Sharing personal data with third parties.

Ridicule Design won’t sell your data to third parties and only provides them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we will set up a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Ridicule Design remains responsible for these processing operations.
